Yianni Papoutis, the creator of Meatwagon has launched his first restaurant, Meat Liquor, in Marylebone set on the site of an old Italian restaurant.The restaurant has been created as a result of the burger bar that was originally made famous via Twitter. People using the hashtag #meateasy, meant that followers could track the location of The Meatwagon on a daily basis, before it set up temporary shop in a New Cross pub. Now #meateasy has a permanent home with a new name, Meat Liquor, at 76 Welbeck Street in Marylebone. Opened on November 11, the restaurant serves the renowned burgers, hot dogs, buffalo wings and Philly cheesesteaks that the original Meatwagon became famous for. As well as the infamous jam jar cocktails created by Soulshakers, a range of salads and some U.S. diner-inspired desserts too. Follow all the action on Twitter (naturally).
