To celebrate creativity in East London, local collective Real Gold have paired up with designers T-Shirt Party (part of ISYS) to hold an inclusive T-Shirt design workshop in association with Hackney Council.

Taking place in Dalston CLR James Library and Dalston Square, participants will be encouraged to use books, archive materials, scissors, glue and digital printers to create a collage tee design, 'that says something about themselves and the area they live in.'

Inspired by T-Shirt Party's iconic designs, every T-shirt will also be emblazoned with the words 'Mass Movement', to create a one-of-a-kind individual tee that is nevertheless part of a collaborative process. With local artists such as Alex Sturrock, Ben Freeman, Phoebe Collings-James and Rhys Coren on board to help out (as  'librarian collaborators'), the event is for everyone of all ages to get involved in.

It's a great project that involves the community in a little creative fun. Head down yourself on Sunday 2nd Septmeber 1-5pm, or check out more info here.
