We have seen a pen that lets you doodle in 3-D, and this time we have a gun that lets anyone build unique furniture pieces. London-based designer James Shaw has just developed a collection of three guns that all work with different materials: paper, pewter and plastic.

The paper maché gun sprays a mix of recycled paper fibre and binder into the air. They react and combine before hitting a substrate. This way, strange, geological forms can be created, reminiscent of mineral depositions.

The plastic extruding gun makes the whole process of extracting polymers easy. It celebrates the qualities of plastic, allowing to create interesting objects. And the pewter squirting gun is similar to a water pistol. It melts and squirts the material, which then solidifies as it hits a surface.
