Design Miami, a yearly global design forum,  opened last week and picking out the best idea amongst the plethora on offer is no easy task, however we feel Louis Vuitton's Objets Nomades collection deserves a special mention.

Taking up residence at the Louis Vuitton pop-up store, the collection offers customers the chance to buy some of one off conceptual travel ware pieces designed by the likes of the Campana Brothers and Atelier Oï.

Like the Hermes Leather Forever exhibition we featured a few month ago, it's interesting to see another luxury brand go beyond the traditional collection to engage consumers. The collection begins its international tour today, with upcoming stops in Tokyo, London, Paris and New York.
