Protein's own Teddy Fitzhugh brings his latest work to the Japanese shores as part of a collaborative lifestyle project between Long clothing and Boy London in an awesome new exhibition at CANDY in Toyko’s Shibuya district.

Long Clothing, as a young London brand alongside Boy London is a perfect collaborative match, bringing 40 years of their iconic British Institution to the masses, globally. Boy has been going strong since it’s inception in 1977 and has defined eras and graced the likes of Andy Warhol to Madonna. Today, the brand is based exclusively from the infamous Sick store in East London’s Redchurch Street, where they host parties and art installations in their perma-evolving space.

Boy London’s present day incarnation revolves around Marc, Meggie, David, Rylan and Megan; all friends who work or collaborate with Boy and embody their distinct lifestyle and attitude. Teddy has captured their spirit in a series of 83 photographs, where the life and times of the five friends are documented. Acting as a glimpse into the new cult youth movement in London, where the relationships they share and the connection between their clothing and lifestyle are highlighted.

The LONG X BOY at CANDY show is running from 28th May until the 17th of June. If like us, you can't make it down to the show you can check out some of Teddy's shots here. Congratulations Ted!
