The LightFreq is a multicolour energy efficient L.E.D light bulb offering 16 million different colours of light to suit your mood, but that’s just the icing on the cake. LightFreq claim the accompanying app unlocks amazing lifestyle features that will completely change the way you use a light bulb and your smart device.

As the device doubles as a speaker as well as light bulb, a house full of LightFreqs will allow you to play HD audio, receive notifications alerts (the lighbulb can change colour when you get a text), speak to people in different rooms over intercom and set a wake up light and/or sound alarm. Also you'll never have to turn a light or a stereo off again -  proximity capabilities turn LightFreqs off and on as you enter or leave the room.

As the internet of things continues to extend its reach, domestic appliances are becoming more and more interconnected, changing the household into a network of objects in itself.
