Nutridrip offers a definitive cure for the hangovers that have you desperate for medical treatment

Inspired by the resources normally only accessible to medical students and professionals, founders Asa Kitfield and Dr. Maurice Beer asked why the less well-connected hungover citizens of New York couldn’t make use of IV fluids too, if only they were willing to part with their cash.

“My father is a doctor so I grew up getting B12 shots for energy or IV drips when I was very sick, so I was no stranger to the concept” explains Kitfield. “My first experience in my adult years was during my bachelor party. One of the attendees was a nurse who snagged some saline bags from her hospital. Half way through the trip myself and another friend were (needless to say) very hungover and were ready to put the IV hangover cure to the test. 30 mins into the drip I felt myself come back to life, 2 hours later I felt almost like I hadn’t drank the night (or 2) before. I became a believer."

But Nutridrip doesn’t just offer hangover cures: when testing the vitamin infusions destined for the truly desperate, they discovered that they just felt better all round. And who doesn’t want to feel better? A variety of formulations are now available to treat fatigue, jet lag or colds, with a personalised health plan in the works for 2016. At $175-$499 treatments aren’t cheap, but they offer a way of buying out of minor ailments for those who don’t have the time to suffer.

Recently we've seen how consumers are looking to rebalance their lives with holistic therapies over physical products. We spoke to Kate Unsworth of Kovert Design about how technology can help us disconnect, and looked at Awair, a personal monitor that regulates the air quality in your home for better living.
