Recently, Tango & Hawaii, unveiled their sound reactive installation, 'Kissing', during Internet Week.

The online and live installation by the Unit9 artists was launched as part of the Hoxton Window Project, where art is projected onto the windows of selected buildings in Hoxton Square.

'Kissing' captures and provokes emotions from both the subject and the viewer, making the installation an interactive piece that aims to question the public's views on kissing. PDA can be quite a complicated issue. When it isn't an act of affection it can be deemed offensive due to factors such as time, surroundings, age or sexual orientation. Due to this, the act of kissing in public is one that can generate mixed opinions and, as highlighted by this installation, sounds. For those who missed it, you can view clips from the installation and footage of the pubic reaction by watching the video below.

For an even more varied range of reactions between cultures, Tango & Hawaii, who previously showcased the project at OFFF in Barcelona, will be launching 'Kissing' at the Stuttgart Filmwinter festival from January 12th-31st 2012.
