Creative collective Kinfolk has launched a new magazine that celebrates convivial moments and gatherings between friends. The new publication is a collaboration between over forty different artists, and features photography and essays about social occasions. 'Kinfolk is the marriage of our appreciation for art and design and our love for spending time with family and friends,' reads the publication's manifesto.

Kinfolk is divided up into different sections, with each focusing on articles about entertaining for a particular number of people. In the first section, about entertaining for one, there is a feature and photographic essay about coffee shops. In the Tandem section there are recipes ideal for two people eating together, as well as suggested music playlists to make the situation complete. And in the A Few section, which focuses on small gatherings of people, there is a feature on table cloths and an interview with a florist that includes tips on flower arranging for social occasions.

In our digital age, it seems that conviviality is playing a growing role in our society, to help people escape and get together from their busy lives. Kinfolk is a magazine dedicated to this. You can read the whole publication online here.
