Lots of brands are creating online campaigns that use people's social profiles to create personal and interactive videos. The latest example is whiskey brand Jameson's 1780 campaign.

When a person logs into the Jameson1780.com website, they are taken into an immersive game based in Dublin's past, where they have to solve a mystery about a stolen barrel of whiskey. The game uses the person's Facebook information, and makes one of their Facebook friends the culprit in the story. Clues are then given throughout the game, using information from the friend's profile, which can gradually be used to guess who stole the barrel. There's also numerous video scenes involving different characters from Jameson's past.

The campaign is a great example of how to develop an interactive video and how to use an immersive game experience to enhance online engagement. Head over to the Jameson 1780 website and try it for yourself.
