Internetopia is a self-described drawing experiment made up entirely of requests from people all over the internet. The crowd-drawn project, initiated by illustrator Benjamin Redford, is open to submission requests which help mould and decide what the final artwork will look like, ultimately realised as a super-sized 24 x 36” poster illustrated by Ben.

Currently sitting on Kickstarter, all requests are visualised as long as they are simple enough to be drawn. A request starts at $1 USD and will be fitted into an individual cube - one of many that make up a grid across the page. The more money you pledge, the more cubes you buy and the larger your drawing will be in the completed work. The final poster will be plate printed in two colours on 160 GSM paper in a limited edition run, signed, numbered and delivered. To be a part of this social experiment, make a pledge and then message the illustrator directly with what you’d like to be drawn. The final product promises to be an epic original work born of the internet’s collective imagination.
