In a collaboration between artists Ed Atkins and Siôn Parkinson and the ICA in London comes A Dying Artist, a two-day symposium and online archive that explores notions of materiality, corporeality, death and dying in bodies of art. Taking place on the 22 - 23 of April or Good Friday and Easter Saturday, forgo the usual chocolate gorging and get stuck into decapitation, terminally diseased flesh, murdered bodies and more via performances, round table discussions, readings, live music and screenings.

With the first day centred on illness and the next centred on death expect to be intimately exploring vacated bodies and delving into the metaphors of illness. You’re in for a real treat as A Dying Artist features the likes of Matthew Barney, David Toop, Heather Phillipson, Raime and Old Appartus.

We’re dying to go… see what we did there? A Dying Artist is on next week, get your tickets here.
