Metronomy's new release will literally be out of this world: the Devon-based electronic music group will present their newest single through the discovery of a star constellation, using an iOS or Android app.

The track 'I'm Aquarius' will be made available to fans who are able to detect the Aquarius constellation using the Night Sky app, a popular tool that allows users to detect and identify groups of stars with their smartphone. At 7pm on Monday November 11th, every owner of the app will receive an update; after installing the update, they must find the Aquarius constellation. Once it's detected, they'll get access to the new Metronomy single, of which a snippet is already unveiled on their website.

This is an interesting and novel way of engaging an audience and encouraging them to put in a little effort before hearing new material.
