In Turkey Beck's has launched the 'Beck's Label Design Contest' with world-famous, Turkish Cypriot designer Hussein Chalayan.

The contest hopes to encourage art and design culture within the country by opening the competition to anyone over 18 years old, whether professional or amateur.

Hussein Chalayan, who himself is one of the judges for the contest, kicked off the competition with his own art label design. Inspired by his frequent flights between London and Cyprus, and the waiter attire he wore in last years Paris fashion show.

The 6 submitted designs with the most points after the judging period will be sold as a special series printed on 150,000 Beck’s bottles. And the designer with the most points will receive a jury special award and a trip to art and design festival OFFF in Barcelona next year.
