On April 15 the Science Gallery at Trinity College Dublin will unveil its latest exhibition, HUMAN+ - the future of our species. Delving into the possibilities of our ever-evolving race, we see augmented abilities, new strategies for survival and non-human encounters in the form of installations, laboratories and artists impressions.

Highlights include a euthanasia rollercoaster, 60 skulls with mechanized eyes that follow your movements and the prosthetic head of Australian performance artist Stelarc (see above.) At a time when science is running ahead of us and we can't quite understand how the future will pan out, HUMAN+ is taking to its major international exhibition to answer and ask, presenting us the latest in bio art and scientific research.

Keen to author your own future? Perhaps stick your DNA in a hybrid plant like artist Eduardo Kac,

HUMAN+ runs until June 2011 and is supported by the Welcome Trust.
