On Saturday 21st September Hewett Street will be choc-a-bloc with stalls, stores, street food, beer and music as we hold our 2013 Hewett Street Block Party.

If you were one of the three thousand people that packed out last year's event then you'll know this will be a day full of solidly good vibes, good music and some damn fine food (and drink). Have a look at the fun that was had ...

The tombola's back, bigger than ever. There's dozens of prizes, with more pouring in by the day, including a night at the plush new Shoreditch-based Ace Hotel and a stylish Uniform Wares watch.

There'll be grub from some the best street food purveyors in the city, a sound system pumping out good-time jams, as well as stalls offering a host of games, a tie-dye workshop, live screen printing and some mystery coconut fun...

Just like last year, all proceeds will be going to local charity, the Hackney Pirates, an innovative education project to help local kids develop core literacy skills and creative abilities by providing one-to-one attention in an unconventional learning environment.

You'll need to RSVP here, but entry is free, so don't miss it.
