With no training in fashion whatsoever, Hedi Slimane is single-handedly responsible for the last decade’s menswear revolution and the creation of the infamous skinny jean. At the height of his fashion design career he was the Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Homme maestro who then shocked all by ditching the role for photography, creative directing and curating.

In an interview with the folks at Hint, get an exclusive glimpse into Slimane’s YSL days, his time at Dior, his relationship with London's rock scene and he his forthcoming book. The book in question, Hedi Slimane: Anthology of a Decade 2000-2010, sees the last 10 year's in the eyes of Slimane. Containing his favourite photographs of the last decade, it acts as a time capsule and portrait of the generation and the music and style that ruled supreme. This must-see is housed in four volumes to represent four cycles and four cities, from Berlin to London to Paris to the U.S.

Hedi Slimane: Anthology of a Decade 2000-2010 is published this April by JRP/Ringier and see Slimane's interview with Hint Fashion Magazine here.
