Let the meat revolution continue! British steakhouse Hawksmoor has now branched out into the world of publications with a new hardback book due for release in October called Hawksmoor At Home. Hawksmoor specialises in steaks, burgers and roasts, which is reflected in this must-read for meat-lovers. The authors have invested a lot of time to ensure that this goes beyond being simply a recipe book, delving into the local history of meat societies, tales of their search for the best cattle breeds, and even the science behind steaks. As a recipe book it lays emphasis on being a practical one. There are over 100 recipes for dishes such as Kimchi burgers, Tamworth Belly ribs, lobster rolls and many other Hawksmoor favourites. All profits from the book sales will go to Action Against Hunger, a charity that the restaurant has consistently supported.   The Hawksmoor publication joins a number of recent meat recipe books, such as Eat Like A Man by Esquire’s food editor Ryan D'Agostino, which is dedicated to meaty ‘man food’ dishes and hands-on recipes. We can't wait to get our hands on the Hawksmoor book and discover how to make our very own Kimchi burger.
