Happify is a new platform designed to make you feel better about yourself, become a happier person and ultimately lead a more fulfilling life. Based on a decade's worth of research by psychologists and neuroscientists, the platform’s framework uses questionnaires, games and activity suggestions to train your brain and help you build skills for lasting happiness - apparently delivering effective and measurable results.

Users can complete a personal profile by answering a number of questions aimed at gauging current happiness levels, to which Happify will respond by recommending daily activities to help you reach your goals. “The common finding is that happiness is a skill,” says Ofer Leidner, one of three Happify co-founders. As such, we should be exercising our minds daily to keep it honed, striving to continually develop it for a more pleasant life. The ‘skill’ of happiness is itself broken down by Happify into five sub-skills: Savouring, Thanking, Aspiring, Giving, and Empathising. In exchange for achieving goals, Happify will awards points across each of these five key skills - assembling the building blocks for a happier life.
Happify isn’t the first platform to bring motivational therapy to the digital realm. Recess also weighs in, aiming to optimise work process by encouraging users to manage their time more effectively.
