London-based Technology Will Save Us strives to provide all with the true joys of creating technology. Through their DIY kits, workshops and support networks, it has combined design with accessibility and know-how to push the boundaries of usable technology.

Technology Will Save Us has recently partnered with Rough Trade East and to launch the Haberdashery East, a conceptual pop-up that will serve to experiment with technology and to engage minds. Alongside Prick Your Finger, a traditional craftwork haberdashery, the East London space will offer a workspace to showcase its first collection of DIY kits alongside a series of workshops and other products.

Beautifully packaged and practically assembled, the kits provide some accessible options to get you started on your DIY technology building path. Perfect for those with a deeper interest in the tech crafts, the space will offer a range of products such as a DIY Speaker kit and a Lumiphone kit, holding all the components to create a custom built musical device.

With the role of technology in our daily lives so integral, we should each have a greater idea as to how we can create it ourselves, and how we can fix, mend and adapt it. The Technology Will Save Us innovative take on how we are educated about technology aims to enable this through creative engagement and by making the tools more accessible. Haberdashery East launches on the 9th of September at Rough Trade East, Dray Walk.
