As multimedia begins to leave behind physical products like CDs and DVDs, it seems logical that products like the GameStick will become more prolific. Acting as a more practical, forward thinking alternative to the clunky games consoles that take up space under countless televisions around the world, the GameStick package consists simply of a controller and a USB flash drive-sized 'console' that plugs directly into a TV's HDMI port.

Coming pre-packed with a host of Android games, the GameStick will allow users to download new games from the open source platform thereby having the potential to radically broaden the reach of smaller developers beyond the phone gaming market, as well as making TV video gaming far more affordable. A controller and a stick start at only $79.
