Similar to Volume and Noise, this quirky gizmo is a cute and simple idea that gives a physical presence to our virtual activity. Developed by BERG design consultancy in collaboration with Twitter, #FLOCK is a wirelessly connected cuckoo clock that reacts to tweets.

The device is made up of four handmade birdhouses but instead of an hourly activity, the birds pop out at every retweet, reply, or new follower, each one in a different way. Optional birdsong can be added to every Twitter notification.

#FLOCK has been thought out as an award to ten lucky companies that have demonstrated the most creative use of Twitter and, sadly, it will not go on sale.
