Converse Skateboarding have recently re-vamped the Kennington Bowls skatepark in London as part of their 'Fix to Ride' program. With the help of California Skateparks, Converse re-surfaced the iconic park giving it a new lease of life for the skate community.

One of the oldest skate parks in London, Kennington Bowls had previously been rendered un-skateable with huge cracks and uneven surfaces developing over its 30 years of use. By fixing it up and adding more modern obstacles,  the skate park can once again be open and free to skate.

This London project is only one part of the Fix to Ride program, which has been fixing up skate parks around the world for the past couple of years. It's a nice example of a brand tapping into the local culture and providing a unique service to the community.
