Spandex on display isn't  usually noteworthy, but Aaron Sherwood and Mike Allison's Firewall is an exception. An interactive media installation, when users push on a large piece of spandex, visuals and music respond to their touch. Technology used includes a Kinect (like Missing) and an Arduino (like Quakescape, Listen Carefully, The Tweet Shoe, and a lot of other things lately).

As far as we know, the installation was independently funded, but if Spanx were smart, they'd get on board.
