There are few image formats that have captured the hearts and minds of 21st century internaughts as much as the GIF. JPEGs, Tiffs and PNGs all have their place, but the GIF is in no uncertain terms the option of choice for animating amusing cat antics and pop culture tropes.
Now Margot Bowman, Jolyon Varley and Sean Frank's 15Folds present Everything All At Once, in collaboration with Dazed and online fashion recommendation service, Lyst. An interactive exhibition that serves up an "IRL" homage to the GIF.

The show promotes digital art more generally, and 20 original GIFs will be on display from contemporary artists such as Quentin Jones and Iris Van Herpen.
Rather than reblogging, visitors to the gallery - at 48 Hoxton Square -  will be able to interact with the exhibition by using a specially built smartphone app. The show opened last night and will run for one week (Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-6pm), and you're advised to fully charge your smartphone before arriving.
15Folds certainly isn't alone in appreciating the GIF. The .Gifys, for example, was an award that sought to properly reward the best GIFs on the web.
