Dutch airline KLM has created a tool that helps travellers seek out a destination’s key spots in an effortless and reliable way. Built on reference data from twelve of the most used social media platforms such as TripAdvisor, Facebook, Yelp and Google, the new app and website, created by digital agency Britny, Dream Catcher paints an all-encompassing portrait of a city’s top locations. Spots are ranked by popularity and categorised into Entertainment, Food & Bars, Accommodation and Shopping, making Dream Catcher practical and easy to navigate.

It seems KLM are taking their previously launched Must See Map, which relied on information taken from the user's own social media circle, one step further. Dream Catcher could perhaps be considered the next phase of travel tools, that, like British Airways' similar concept Picture Your Holiday, offer an effective, tailored guide to your holiday.
