Muse has created a fully interactive Flash-based lyric video to mark the release of their forthcoming single ‘Panic Station’. Working in collaboration with independent London creative agency Yuki, the Devon band took the non-interactive version of their video – produced by visual effects studio Deerstalker – and transformed it into a 3D visualiser using Away 3D 4 and Adobe Flash. The end result? A mesmerising, interactive visual accompaniment to the song that viewers and fans can take control of – changing the camera’s pan and tilt with a simple click and drag of the mouse. A short while back we caught the ‘Do Not Touch’ music video. With music being continually consumed in a non-passive way (in turn making viewers actual creators themselves), expect more acts to follow suit.Take a look at the video (which is premiering on Wired) here.
