digitalSTROM blocks enable people to retrofit their home electronic appliances with intelligent technology. By installing the blocks into the power source of individual appliances, people can control these appliances via a smartphone app. digitalSTROM also offers more options than the standard on or off. For example, with lighting it’s possible to choose different modes for different activities such as ‘night light’ or ‘eating’. It’s also possible to monitor energy consumption and create a network of appliances.
