Protein, in alliance with the ICA and s[edition], are proud to announce 'Disruption: The Convergence of Art and Technology", a one off talk on Digital Art and its ubiquity in all areas of creative culture on 1st October, 2012.

The event invites renowned artists Daniel Brown, Mat Collishaw, Matthew Johnstone, and Quayola to engage in open discussion with FACT magazine Director Mike Stubbs, Curator Che Zara Blomfield and The Creators Project Executive Editor Kevin Holmes on subjects including art, fashion, collection and curation.

As digital art continues to converge with technology, the movement has seen an increase in popularity among art world enthusiasts and other creative industries. The Disruption panel will explore topics such as the divide between the digital and contemporary art worlds, issues of conservation and preservation and the acceptance of digital works by mainstream audiences amongst others. This event explores the impact of digital art as it pertains to audiences and collectors.
