New York’s Storefront for Art and Architecture and OHWOW are hosting Daniel Arsham/Snarkitecture’s explorations of the architecture of excavation.

Dig is an installation and performance, it transforms Storefront’s gallery space with a solid volume of white EPS architectural foam which is then, over the month-long period, excavated using simple tools (hammers, picks and chisels) creating an unexpected cavern for work and play.

Viewers are invited to watch the excavation in real time at the gallery, or keep up with the progress here.
