This week, the Designs of the Year 2012 exhibition launched with a Protein campaign in the line up.

Recognising the best designs from the past twelve months, the prestigious Designs of the Year awards have gathered its nominees for an exhibition at London's Design Museum. The designs have been arranged in the seven categories of Fashion, Architecture, Digital, Furniture, Graphics, Transport, and Product. Within the Digital category, Protein are proud to announce that the Beck's Green Box Project campaign is among those nominated. For those who missed the Green Box project, there is still a chance to experience it as it now takes pride of place at the museum.

Alongside our Beck's campaign, there are many other great nominees featured at the exhibition including the stunning UVA's High Arctic installation and Yuya Ushida's accordion-like XXXX_Sofa. Provocative designs come courtesy of the Vivienne Westwood's Ethical Fashion Africa and Alexander McQueen's Savage Beauty collections. Also in the running is the Late Night Chameleon Cafe, the concept boutique which explores the fine line between shopping and gallery spaces.

Within the wide range of categories, there are projects which share similarities in designs that focus on humanitarian development, such as the Re-Design for Emergency Ambulance and an earthquake-proof table. Visitors can also get involved in the exhibition by recreating designs themselves as a part of Noma Bar's Cut It Out which features an on-site cutting machine.

The Design of the Year exhibition will be on display from the 8th February - 15th July 2012 and the winner will be announced at in April 2012. For more information, click here.
