On Tuesday we teamed up with Dazed & Confused to hold the 'Trash Fashion' Forum. Discussing movements in the fashion world, from technological developments in sustainability to the resurgence of the punk aesthetic, the diverse range of speakers included fashion designer Hussein Chalayan, professor of fashion history at Central Saint Martins, Caroline Evans and men's and womenswear designer Nasir Mazhar. As well as these, we also had Womenswear graduates, Claire Storey and Luke Brooks, as well as Textile Futures lecturer Kieran Jones.

Thanks to Rekorderlig, who provided the much needed refreshments throughout the warmer than usual evening. The debate really got going and, as with all our forums, the audience got stuck in with discussing the ideas and issues raised by the speakers.
