Last week London Sessions and online culture hub Spine TV launched their video series documenting our favourite chef Dante Fried Chicken's (DFC) cooking up sessions. For the first offering in the series London Sessions and Spine TV teamed up with the crews from Earnest Endeavours, Black Atlantic and Tiger Beer to create an awesome behind-the-scenes profile of the conceptual chef at their recent carnival BBQ jam in London where DFC provoked a foodie frenzie. Now the next installment is live. This time Dante, the award-winning LA chef famous for his Ride or Fry food truck and unique Trans-Atlantic African cuisine, is cooking up with Darkhouse Fam, beatmakers hailing from Wales. In the video (above), the mouth-watering menu includes ‘Warning Tastes Like Chicken Tofu Taco’ topped with Apricot Crak Sauce, plantains, avocado and toasted almond coconut milk slaw on a home-made black sesame tortilla.Cardiff duo Darkhouse Fam’s production has been getting nods of approval from pioneers of the bass music scene, with people like Xfm’s Mary Anne Hobbs and Radio 1’s Gilles Peterson playing their genre-defying beats.The crews have teamed up again to throw a party featuring Darkhouse Fam in an impressive line-up that sees beat-head and entertainer extraordinaire Lunice headlining.
