Lexus have just released a new magazine-print ad that takes a page out of the world of digital.

The ad uses new CinePrint technology that allows a static image to become animated when combined with a digital screen. When placing an iPad behind the Sports Illustrated page, the light from the screen shines through bringing the image of the car to life. It's a nice application of merging the realms of digital and print, and making a typical car ad that much more interactive and engaging.
