Listen up because this is huge. London’s daily commute, be it via tube, bus or bike is being turned into a massive multiplayer game for it’s millions of commuters. Brought to us by digital production agency Mudlark in partnership with Transport for London, Chromaroma is set to make rush hour a hell of a lot more fun.

The game uses data gathered from London’s Oyster travel cards and bike hire keys through its RFID and NFC technology (which we told you about here), so everyone can play without the need for a smartphone. Chromaroma is essentially a point-based game, where you are able to embark on missions, collect items, and capture stations, through your logged commuter journey data. Users are able to play with friends or compete against them as communities of people who cross paths and routes on a regular basis are connected.
