As you may have noticed, Christmas is very nearly upon us. But just in case you hadn't, interaction developer David Ronai has given the traditional advent calendar a digital makeover to help get you into the festive spirit. Christmas Experiments sees a different digital artist creating a new interactive experiment for each day in December. These can take the form of games, interactive animations or more abstract digital concepts. The entries available so far range from the reliably festive to the darker corners of yuletide folklore to the downright surreal. One day you may be escaping the clutches of the Kreepy Krampus, and the next guiding Santa as he steers his jet bike through a barrage of baubles.

Digital art and creativity has made significant strides in recent years and this is another example of it engaging people in an interesting, fun way.
