Canary is an intelligent, design driven security system created to act as a virtual house sitter, equipped with the ability to detect movement, air quality, temperature and humidity.

Canary allows the user to monitor their living space remotely through a HD video feed, accessable anywhere through a smartphone application. If anything unusual is detected, the device sends alerts using push notifications and all manner of digital correspondence, giving users the chance to alert the authorities, to dismiss the notification or even to trigger the inbuilt siren. If all is well, users can check in and receive a reassuring ‘all is calm at home’ message with a run down of the current environmental conditions.
