Japanese band Androp has just released an interactive music video for their new single Bright Siren directed by Tokyo-based agency PARTY. The video uses 250 flashes from Canon cameras to produce a light animation controlled by computer programming. No post production techniques are used for the effects; it is all created using actual light bulbs and computer software Flash, openFrameworks and Arduino. Check it out above. On the song’s website, fans can interact with the visuals by creating their own versions, customising the video to include their own messages.   The arts world is increasingly encouraging more audience participation with engaging projects such as London’s upcoming BYOB event which we featured recently.
