Burgers certainly taste great, but now they can communicate messages too. To coincide with the launch of its braille menus, Wimpy South Africa workedwith local advertising agency Metropolitan Republic to develop and create15 braille burgers. Sesame seeds were arranged on the buns to read outmessages in braille describing the contents of the burger and given out tovisually impaired customers. Many of these customers chose to speak outand blog about the campaign and it eventually reached over 800,000 sight-impaired individuals.

The fast-food market is saturated with campaigns and promotions but thisidea really stands out- it’s a charming and unique project that portrays Wimpyas a brand that considers and caters for everyone. The video is genuinelyheart-warming and brought a smile to our faces.
