We told you yesterday about the Beck’s Art Fund. Now we can share some pieces by contributors to the Green Box Project that are sure to get your creative bones itching. The Beck’s Art Fund is taking submissions from anyone who wants to be a part of the beer brand’s Green Box Project, offering aspiring artists funding, support and a global platform to showcase their work. The project sets no constraints, allowing total creative freedom, as can be seen in the contribution from jelly architects Bompas & Parr which is inspired by NY's meatpacking district. The video above shows how the wobbly-dessert artisans, who specialise in creating sculptures from jelly, went about sculpting the unique piece and jelly-inspired soundscapes using augmented reality technology for The Green Box Project. You can click here to see the jelly in action on their Green Box. The New York based jewellery designer Jules Kim AKA Bijules’s artwork is an entirely different offering for the Green Box canvas. Watch how the modern day alchemist uses her golden touch here, creating a confetti explosion of gold and coating human hands in the precious metal for the project. Be inspired, and submit as many ideas as you’d like by heading to this link. The deadline for entry is 27th October.
