We're all too familiar with pop-ups by now. But Swedish interior design retailer Lagerhaus decided to take it one step further by opening the world’s first Blog-Up Store. The campaign, created by communications company Prime, created a series of pop-up stores on popular blogs.

Lagerhaus approached six bloggers, including Inspiration and Design and gave them access to a blog store widget that could be embedded on their blog. This way they could create their own customised shops with their favourite Lagerhouse products.

On the day of the launch of the online stores, readers could meet the bloggers in person at the bricks and mortar Lagerhaus stores, where their chosen products were also marked with stickers. The 'blog-up' concept is a great example of how brands can integrate on- and off-line retail. Not convinced? Just check out the data: Lagerhause’s Facebook fans increased by 226%, interactions grew by 360% and the blog stores have become permanent distribution channels for the brand.
