Being a parent is hard. Just ask your parents. While parental aids are nothing new, BleepBleeps bring child-rearing into the digital age. Designed by Tom Evans, BleepBleeps are a family of connected products that aim to make things a bit easier from pregnancy to birth to child care. Coming in an array of bright colors, shapes, and sizes, each BleepBleep is its own character geared towards a specific function and connects to the BleepBleep app on the parents’ phones.
Though in the early stages of development, the company is set to release the first product in its line, “Tony Tempa,” a colorful, friendly-looking digital ear thermometer. Using bluetooth data, Tony is designed to track the readings and offer digital feedback on an LED display that parents can view on iOS or Android operating systems. BleepBleeps also seeks to make its products customizable by providing customers with meshes of Tony’s case, making them easy to modify and/or print using a 3D printer. With technology's ability to do just about anything, why not make parenting a bit easier as well?
