Next Monday we are proud to present an exclusive screening of the critically acclaimed documentary 'Bill Cunningham New York' in our gallery space, 18 Hewett Street.

The film portrays the eccentric New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham, who for decades has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for his Times Style columns. Documenting uptown figures (including Anna Wintour, Tom Wolfe, Brooke Astor, David Rockefeller — who all appear in the film out of their love for Bill), downtown eccentrics and everyone in between, Cunningham’s enormous body of work is more reliable than any catwalk as an expression of time, place and individual flair. In turn, Bill Cunningham New York is a delicate, funny and often poignant portrait of a dedicated artist whose only wealth is his own humanity and unassuming grace.

Tickets are only £6.50 and includes free popcorn. These can be purchased here, but make sure you snap yours up quick as there are only a limited number available.

The screening will start at 7.30pm but why not come enjoy a post work coffee (or your free beer!) beforehand. The Dunnefrankowski guys who normally close at 5, will kindly be keeping their machines on for us until the start of the film.

This is only being shown in a handful of venues nationwide so don't miss out. Hope to see you there!
