It is not often that you see a fridge full of beer on your way to work. Beer company Molson Canadian went and installed one in London, Dover and Cantenbury. They also placed a few across France, Brussels and Belgium. However the fridge stays shut to anyone who is not Canadian – and a passport is required to prove it.

The quirky campaign was created by Rethink agency, and aimed to restore Canadian pride, and promote Canadian tourism. Canadians could scan their passport for the fridge to magically open, making them very popular all around.

It is great to see brands coming up with interractive and fun campaigns that are not limited to one geographical location, and celebrate national pride in a playful way.
