As Audience Activation Manager, Social, you will mainly be working on our key retainer client, as well as support the growth of the team. The retainer client is an iconic fashion brand, well established amongst influencers and millennial (don’t think high-end luxury, think cool and premium).  Your role is primarily focused on paid social (70-80%) and also to support the Senior Audience Planner to activate influencer and organic social campaign. Your responsibilities will be:
Strategy & Media Planning

  • Lead planning of all paid social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and other relevant platforms
  • Work jointly with Audience Activation Manager and Senior Audience Planner on social media campaigns, looking into new and native communication channels (influencer marketing, organic social mechanics, etc.)
  • Lead both Always-On and 2 quarterly seasonal campaigns across 10+ EMEA markets, coordinating with local and regional parties (creative and PR agencies, internal production, account lead, etc.) to ensure best delivery
  • Work collaboratively with Audience Strategy Director and Senior Audience Planner to ensure Paid Social is integrated into holistic digital and social strategies
  • Work with Audience Strategy Director to apply and grow Audience first thinking to Paid Social planning, influencing new way of thinking within the industryActivation
  • Lead the buying & set-up of campaigns on social, influencer, seeding & biddable media platforms, and responsible for on-going optimisation of campaigns
  • Co-responsible for campaign tagging, tracking and reporting with Ad-ops & Analytics specialist(s)
  • Own & develop relationship with core social media, influencer & biddable partners (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Google, Niche, Brandnew, Sharethrough, etc.)
  • Responsible of identifying relevant tools and platforms to grow the agency social and influencer proposition
  • Booking and reconciling activities on financial systems, being responsible for any client's finance queries

Client & Thought Leadership

  • Main point of contact for all paid social questions, coordinating with both the Senior Account Director in charge of the retainer client, as well as with local and regional clients.
  • Keep up to date with new social media platforms and initiatives (new product or platform, technologic innovations, etc.) to be an industry expert, adviser to all clients as well as internal teams / departments

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum in media and / or social media agency
  • Strong experience of paid social media planning & buying
  • Keen interest in social media in the broad sense of the term
  • Understanding of paid search is a strong plus
  • Usage of social media tools (planning, activation or analytics) (ie. Affinio, Sysomos, Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.)
  • Fluent English. 2nd language (Spanish, Italian, German) is a bonus
  • Good dance moves and enthusiasm are also a bonus
