After a busy summer of Nike Flyknit events at 1948, the fun continues with the launch of Nike's Aske Gardens in East London. Developed with the help of design practice We Made That, Aske Gardens has been rejuvenated into a community sports area including a new basketball court, Astro Turf courts and lawn.

For its launch, a temporary installation by UnitedVisualArtists has been set up to celebrate the Nike Flyknit technology, consisting of awesome interactive trampolines. When bounced on, the trampolines emit different sounds and light patterns based on how hard and high you bounce. Nike have also curated a series of events with Run Dem Crew, Mothers Meeting and St Leonards FC to celebrate the opening of the new space.

This is another interesting example of a brand engaging with local communites and sportsmen with a spot of civic regeneration. Check out more info on upcoming events here.
