Pouring the perfect beer isn't easy, particularly when you're a clumsy, accident prone human. Which is why Asahi have developed a robotic beer pouring machine for busy bars. This robot bartender, shown for the first time at the International Robotics Expoin Tokyo this month, is connected to the keg and can pour up to six beers at a time, taking around twelve seconds per glass, all while reducing wastage to almost nothing. Developed by Asahi in conjunction with Nagoya-based robotics company NST, owners will be able to get their hands on this machine within two years.

We've seen robotic bartenders before, the Makr Shakr cocktail bartenders for example, but this appears to be a far more commercially viable option.
