You might have noticed that we’re going a little burger crazy at the moment. To be fair, there are a lot of incredible joints serving them up at the moment, and to add to the general meat hype we've got tips coming your way from bonafide aficionados Burgerac. Dedicated to hunting down the best burger outlets across London, New York and beyond, on 27th June they’ll be celebrating the art of the burger in the most literal sense. Chef Fred Smith of the Admiral Codrington pub in Chelsea will be dishing out top quality, Burgerac approved meat delights, served on limited edition Burgermats for the lucky 64 guests able to attend. The one-off event is taking place at the Andrew’s greasy spoon café on Grey’s Inn Road as part of the blogs highly anticipated series of 'Burger Monday' pop-up dinners. The Burgermats have been designed by a select group of artists and feature gems such as the 50’s drive-thru inspired ‘House of the Rising Bun’. Guests are welcome to take home the series of different designs - all in the name of burger love. Check out a selection of the mats here.   Tickets for the big shebang cost £40 and are available to those on the Young and Foodish mailing list from the 13th June. If you can’t get down to the event, you can console yourself by ordering an A2 print of the Burgermat artwork  at print-process.com from the 28th onwards.
