The inaugural print issue of Another Escape has arrived. Among the freshest culture publications we’ve seen this year, its billing as “A Creative Exploration” translates into a series of reflections and fleeting encounters across the world. Like the leather-bound notebook of a well-seasoned traveller, it's a well-considered diary of writings and photographs and illustrations of ethereal places, of coming togethers and labours of love.

Sustainability is the loosely emergent (yet not-constraining) theme of the issue, with highlights ranging from permaculture to a profile of the duo behind the faux head of a real “new age cartography project.” Each feature is a warmly narrated impression, reaching from the innards of a Shoreham houseboat community to Valley of the Moon in Bolivia to the endless frontiers of the American west. Have a look here.
