They say genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. That may be true, and if it is, then this new zine generator should reduce that workload by about 99%. To create your own virtual zine, all you need to do is enter your chosen topic and the generator sources appropriate (or sometimes, not so appropriate) pictures from Google images and creates an online zine for you, in all its lo-quality, virtual xeroxed glory.

The project is the brain child of VCU grad student Kaolis Kosas, and bears similarities with the Google Visual Dictionary we looked at in the summer with respects to exploring the randomness, accuracies and inaccuracies of search engines, the internet and in broader sense perhaps, language.

Each generated zine is stored in an online archive and physical copies can be ordered for the very reasonable price of $3.
